Keurig Inventor Disses Machine

Everybody loves their Keurig coffee maker. Everybody except the inventor himself. Apparently, the inventor of the machine, John Sylvan feels bad for ever creating it and doesn’t even own his own machine. When he first thought of the idea, he thought it would be a great invention that made single served coffee and that it would be a huge hit. Now, he’s thinking that he “created a monster”.

Why does he feel this way? He expresses that it’s because the K cups are absolutely horrible for the environment and that “they will never be recyclable.” According to a recent article, Keurig says that their cups will be 100% recyclable by 2020.

Well awesome, now I feel like I killed the planet by drinking my morning cup of coffee!
