50 Days of Winter in Mid-Michigan
In case you haven't opened a window in the past 72 hours...it's officially winter here in mid-Michigan. Likely the most polarizing season of the year, many of us see winter as a time to reacquaint ourselves with our blankets, or queue up 20 shows we've been curious about on our Netflix accounts, or just sit in the window and weep.
The Mt Pleasant Convention and Visitors Bureau, recognizing this trend, took it upon themselves to provide us cabin dwellers with a handy guide to surviving the next 50 days of winter with some pretty cool stuff to do here in mid-Michigan.
We definitely approve of this list, and think it's worth trying out some of these activities for yourself. Some of our particular favorites include the many opportunities to check out a CMU Men's or Women's basketball game, wrestling match or gymnastics meet, sample some of the fine beers at one of our several local breweries, stroll through the CMU Art Gallery, or visit one of the many excellent stores downtown.
