Some Horror Movies...Had Real Life Curses by Tina Sawyer
There are times I can sit through a marathon of Nightmare On Elm Streets and Friday the 13th movies on Netflix...and not flinch a muscle....but then quiver at the thought of The Strangers because of its nerve-racking realism. There are also times, I cannot even look at Linda Blair without cowering in a corner. And I am not talking about Linda Blair, the little girl (seen above) in full creeptastic makeup from The Exorcist...I'm talking Linda Blair the grown woman who is normal in every capacity. Just the sight imposes a kind of PTSD moment in my heart and makes me panic for the remote. I blame it on the images emblazed in my mind from that movie that caused multiple nightmares from age 12 and on. Maybe it's the curse?
