Pope Francis Warns About Substituting Pets and Children
While the Internet seemingly has a love affair with the current Pope, he might have lost some of his street credit this week after speaking out against married couples substituting their pets for children.
Francis blamed a 'culture of well-being' for promoting ideals that don't include children, while condemning the lifestyle as one that doesn't jive well with Christian ideals.
While the Pope clearly understands that more Millennials elect not to have children than their parents, he seems to ignore the difficulty young adults face raising children in today's economy.
